Rugby Montessori Nursery School
A warm, caring environment in a beautiful setting For children from 6 months to 5 years

During gardening each week, we encourage the children to get dirty and have a go at digging, planting, watering and weeding.

We have two different beds - one for vegetables and herbs that the children nurture and eventually get to eat, helping them learn where their food comes from and another bed for flowers and displays.

We take part in Rugby in Bloom competition each year. In 2015 we won the highest award when we were picked as the overall winner of the nursery garden section.

We believe that gardening can be a child's first experience of taking care of something, learning about the responsibility of looking after the plants and seeing the results of their hard work whilst having fun.

Rugby in Bloom
Miss Sheena and Miss Andrea went to the Rugby in Bloom Word Cup celebrations to collect the awards on behalf of the children from celebratory gardener James Wong and the Rugby Mayor, Richard Dodd.

Our beautiful Butterfly Remembrance Garden was entered into this year's Rugby in Bloom and we were proud to win GOLD.
